Support posts and feed items
How public support feed posts work for tips, shop purchases, commissions, and subscriptions.
Support feed items can show public supporter messages and purchase context when the buyer chooses to post or share. A buyer can also choose to make a shop purchase or commission public without writing a message.
Supper can also show related Bluesky or AT Protocol social posts, replies, and original-post links when a supporter or creator shares support publicly. Those social posts are governed by the service where they were posted, such as Bluesky, even when Supper displays them as part of a support feed.
Guest purchases can have Supper-owned feed items where appropriate, but they cannot write payer records to a guest's PDS because the guest does not have one.
