Supper HelpGetting started

Coming from Ko-fi

Preview your Ko-fi membership export and decide whether to start fresh or plan an ATM migration.

You can use Supper without leaving Ko-fi right away. The safest launch path is to set up ATM, start selling on Supper, and keep Ko-fi running until any membership migration is reviewed and confirmed.

If you already have Ko-fi memberships, Supper can preview your membership export so you can see active supporters, tiers, payment source categories, and rows that may need manual review. ATM stores only masked and hashed review data for this preview.

Start fresh and sell in both places

  • Set up ATM from Supper and start accepting tips, monthly support, shop purchases, and commissions on Supper.
  • Keep Ko-fi active while you test Supper and decide whether to migrate existing memberships.
  • Tell supporters where new support should happen, but do not cancel existing Ko-fi memberships yet.

Preview a migration

  • Export your Ko-fi membership CSV.
  • Open Supper dashboard payment setup and choose Coming from Ko-fi.
  • Upload or paste the CSV to preview active rows, Stripe rows, PayPal rows, tiers, duplicates, missing emails, and rows that need manual review.
  • If the preview looks useful, continue to ATM so the migration batch is saved for review.

What Supper can import

  • Membership exports can be previewed in Supper, then sent to ATM for billing review.
  • Shop products and commissions can be previewed from a content CSV and imported as inactive Supper drafts for review.
  • Page copy, images, shipping settings, benefits, digital files, and fulfillment details should still be checked in Supper before publishing.
  • Historical Ko-fi payments should not be written as Supper or ATM-originated public payment records.

What needs manual handling

  • PayPal memberships cannot be moved into ATM billing continuity through Stripe and usually need supporters to resubscribe.
  • Missing-email, duplicate-email, unknown-source, inactive, refunded, or ended rows need review before cutover.
  • Private notes, shipping/contact details, and fulfillment data should stay private and should not be published to AT Protocol records.

Before any real cutover

  • Finish ATM payment setup for the creator account.
  • Keep Ko-fi running until ATM confirms the Stripe copy/import path.
  • Expect PayPal, missing-email, duplicate, and unknown-source rows to need manual handling.
  • Do not disconnect Ko-fi or cancel memberships until the migration plan is confirmed.
  • Tell supporters what is changing before you ask them to update or recreate memberships.
